Editorial Policy

WAKITRON 2 is a software discovery directory. We list and describe software; we do not sell it, and we are not the vendor of any product listed here.

• Listings summarize official vendor documentation. Vendor claims are attributed, not endorsed.
• Every material claim (pricing model, license, platforms) links to an official source and carries a last-checked date.
• No invented ratings, rankings, download counts, traffic figures, testimonials or prices. Popularity sorting is disabled until real, disclosed metrics exist.
• No placement is sold as organic ranking. Sponsored placements, if ever introduced, will be labeled on the affected page and in this policy.
• Descriptions and screenshots are written or created by us. We do not republish copyrighted marketing text or imagery without permission.
• Software that becomes unavailable, unsafe or misrepresented can be retired; retired listings remain auditable in our records.

Review Methodology

• Identity: the official product website is the primary source for what the software is and who makes it.
• Pricing: pricing model (free / freemium / paid) is checked against the official pricing page on the date shown on the listing. We distinguish free plans, trials, freemium tiers and open-source licenses — a demo video is never treated as proof of price.
• Platforms: supported platforms are confirmed from official documentation, never inferred from a generic web app.
• License: the license field reflects the official license of the distributed product; where a project has both open-source and proprietary builds (for example Visual Studio Code), we say so explicitly.
• Re-verification: volatile facts such as pricing are re-checked on a schedule. Stale or broken links flag a listing for review.
• AI assistance: AI tools may assist drafting or classification, but no claim is published without a human editor verifying it against an official source.

Corrections Policy

• Anyone can report an error via the “Report a correction” link on every product page or the contact form.
• Reports about pricing, broken official links or wrong platform support are triaged first.
• Verified corrections are applied and the last-checked date is updated. Significant changes are noted in the listing's audit history.
• Removal requests from rights holders are honored for trademark misuse or unlawful content; factual, sourced descriptions are not removed on demand.

Privacy Policy

• This site collects the minimum data needed to operate: your language and theme preferences (stored locally in your browser) and, if you submit software or contact us, the information you type into the form.
• Your compare list and moderation queue live in your browser's localStorage. Clearing browser data removes them.
• We do not run advertising trackers and do not sell personal data. External links go to official vendor sites governed by their own policies.
• Contact and submission data is used only to process your request and is not added to marketing lists.

Terms of Use

• Content is provided for general information. Verify critical details (price, license, security posture) on official vendor sites before making decisions.
• All trademarks, product names and logos are property of their respective owners. Their use here is nominative and descriptive only.
• External links are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for third-party content or availability.
• Do not scrape this site in violation of applicable terms or law.

Cookie Policy

• This site does not set tracking cookies.
• Preferences (language, theme) are stored in your browser's localStorage, not as cookies, and never leave your device.
• If server-side features are added later, this policy will be updated before any cookie is set.

Affiliate Disclosure

WAKITRON 2 does not currently use affiliate links, referral programs or paid placements, and submissions are never charged for. If this changes, the affected pages and this section will be updated before any sponsored content appears, and paid placement will never be presented as editorial ranking.

Accessibility Statement

• The interface targets WCAG AA contrast in both light and dark themes.
• All interactive controls are keyboard-operable with visible focus states and ARIA labels.
• Full right-to-left layout is supported for Arabic, including navigation, cards, filters and comparison tables.
• Report any accessibility barrier through the contact form; we treat those reports as corrections (see Corrections Policy).
